ANAMNESIS is both an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, academic journal and an intellectual online journal dedicated to the study of Tradition, Place, and ‘Things Divine.’ The journal strives to avoid ideological commitments and, instead, be open to diverse scholarship relating to our major themes. We have already published three print issues and several web-essays that address thinkers such as Hans-Georg Gadamer, Edmund Burke, T.S. Eliot, Wendell Berry, Richard Weaver, Alasdair MacIntyre, Christopher Lasch, Allen Tate, David Hume, Alexis de Tocqueville, Eric Voegelin, and Michael Oakeshott.

Effective 11/27/2017 – ANAMNESIS is no longer accepting submissions for our print or online journal

We are accepting submissions of academic feature articles, review-essays on neglected books, and reviews on contemporary books for the annual editions of ANAMNESIS. We are also accepting web article submissions. All such articles, essays, and reviews should be relevant to our themes of tradition, place, and ‘things divine.’ For more information on these themes, please read the ANAMNESIS editorial statement. Also, please consult our submission guidelines.
